Ethnic Day

Girls were dressed in Sherwanis, Ghagharas, Lehngas and traditional sarees and the boys wore lungis, dhothis and even bejewelled turbans, like those worn by kings in ancient times. Jeans and T-shirts were not to be seen anywhere in the sprawling grounds. What could have been easily mistaken for a fancy dress ball was actually ‘Ethnic Day’ celebrations at the Goodwill PU College. The main message of the celebration was to respect the traditions and recognise the culture of the others. Yoga

In yoga, this purpose is called dharma and the point of yoga is actually the same as that of college when it comes to fulfilling your dharma: the practice gives you the tools to engage with the world with impact. College is intended to harness our tremendous potential to change the world. It encourages us to focus on what we want to learn, to broaden our horizons, and cultivate new understandings.

Farewell Day

We conduct our college farewell, to bid send off to the students who are about to complete the courses. This marks the end of 2 golden years. We congratulate them for the successful completion of PUC, and wish them for the bright career ahead. The farewell program constitutes the mixed feelings of the students. The senior most students are captured in the waves of memories about their courses years, while the juniors engulf the bitter truth that their senior counterparts will no more share the campus with them, and congratulate and wish them for the successful completion of PUC.
